Head Trainer
10+ years training. Buck's-certified. Reactivity and behavior-modification specialist. Runs the family hand-off that transfers the work back to you.
I have been a dog trainer and a dog lover for as long as I can remember.
I have five personal dogs — two in scent and bomb detection, and a tracking dog learning to find missing people. They are all still in training. My family and my husband mean everything to me — they are the reason I do this work. I became a trainer to unify my family pack, to learn the skills I needed to enrich my own high-energy dogs, and to bring families together through training, education, and enrichment.
At Buck's I run our reactivity and behavior-modification floor. Every 3-week and 4-week behavior-mod case in the facility crosses my desk, and I personally run a large share of the go-home lessons that transfer the work back to the owners.
Like every trainer on our floor, I am certified through Buck's own train-the-trainer program — the same standard we hold the whole team to. The detection and tracking work I do with my own dogs feeds straight back into how I read and rehabilitate the hard reactivity and anxiety cases that come through my floor.
Every 3-week and 4-week behavior-mod case runs through Felicia. Leash reactivity, dog-on-dog, window-going-off, anxiety — this is her primary work.
Certified through Buck's own train-the-trainer program — the most rigorous standard we know, and the same bar every trainer on our floor is held to.
The hand-off lesson is where the program lives or dies. Felicia personally runs most of our go-home lessons and follow-up refreshers because the handler half of the team is half the work.
Tell us about your dog. We will route the case to the right trainer — Felicia takes reactivity, aggression, and most behavior-mod cases personally. First 30-minute call is free.
